WELCOME

Hello, it's nice to meet you. My name is Jasmine, and I am an aspiring artist and animator from the UK. I have an interest in art, design and animation, which I have harnessed into my studies. I enjoy experimenting with various mediums and styles when drawing traditionally, as well as digitally.

I owe my love for crafting and creating to my mum, as she introduced me to it from a young age. I have always been surrounded by some sort of craft, ranging from crochet to origami, to painting. As I grew older, I became more fond of finding my own pathway within the creative community.​

During my GCSEs and my A-Levels, I took up studying Fine Art to help me improve my artistic skill, as well as expand what mediums I have worked with. During my fine art courses, I experimented with sculping, inking, etching, lino printing, spray painting, and much more. Through my experimentation, I was given the chance to explore and create new artworks I previously wouldn't have had the resources to work with.

 

As my final year of my A-Levels came to an end, I started exploring into animation in February 2025. To start off my first leap, I experimented with the well-known ball drop exercise. By mid-summer, I was able to get a smoother looking motion in my ball drops, as well as my walk cycle (with some help from my week work experience with TinMouse Studios in June 2025). I continued to work on my animation skills by joining a 2 year animation course at South Essex College starting in September 2025, as well as working on the skills I had learnt in my free time with personal projects.
