Suit Up

For this project, I was tasked with creating a character transformation.

I started with designing a character, and researching into different types of transformations. This allowed me to decide upon the type of transformation I was wanting based upon the powers I have given to my character.

Within this project, enjoyed experimenting with rigging and impact frames the most.

Short Form Content

To create an enticing animation that keeps up the trends of social media, I created an interactive, short-form animation to help hook my audience.

Using a ball as a rough base, I mapped out the movement speed for each step before adding in my character along with some squish and stretch.

To help sell the movement, I added some secondary action of the magical field to help suggest a force of motion.

Dreams and Nightmares

Dreams can be eary places, filled with our deepest darkest secrets. Through this project, I brought to life a scene from everyone's nightmares.

During this project, I worked with both animating my scene, as well as creating a soundscape to help intensify the fear and anxiety my audience feels as they are hunted.

By researching into common fears, I intertwined certain aspects of my animation to align with several well-known fears in humans.

Digi Pets

Have you ever wished to own a little critter of your own, but never had the money, space or time to look after them?

Every child knows of digital pets, such as Talking Tom. In this project, I strove to create a digi-pet that is more unique. I specifically chose to work with reptile due to the most common pets being cats and dogs.

By choosing a chameleon as my digi-pet, I played upon the idea of their colour-changing abilities to help visually intrigue my audience, as well as help visually aid the needs of my pet.
